Reservations Calendar

Background/Focus

  • Enabling users to check Ad products availability and status efficiently to facilitate more reservations through the design and introduction of Reservations Calendar.

  • Provide Sales Ops a single source of truth

  • Reduce resources needed to maintain multiple inventory query+ de-fragmenting current user experience

  • Too many different persona and various processes to cover

  • The different platforms and inventory query use different metrics and data format across different date/ time format e.g. Brand Premium is using Impressions e.g. 620,000 HTC is using 1 slot and top view with 2 slots

Problem solving thoughts and solutions

  • By leveraging the expected behaviour of a calendar, I have used the same format to display various ad availabilities, displaying product in rows with the ability to toggle between date/time format

  • Using a single bar, I was able to not only show the availability of various ad products but also the status (Available, pending, sold) of the products

Outcomes & Impact

  • Design a calendar capable of displaying approximately 6 types of Ad products availability with 3-4 statuses across 3 date-time format and 2 different views (Availability and Detailed), showing up to 36-108 permutations of data distilled to a single versatile, simple and intuitive platform, reducing the need for multiple product maintenance and becoming a primary and unified source of availability information

  • Reservations Calendar rolled out globally for Inventory availability with all product information including targeting directly integrated with Resource Center, Reservation Center, Quotes, Reservation Ads Platform, and Orders

  • Since implementation >8x page views to the previous solution. >9k page views/month with a 58% weekly retention rate and a +21 NPS score. Inventory details component is reused in Quotes and Orders resulting in an additional 46,840 views/month.

  • Export capabilities used >50 times a week to save sales 10-20min each of creating a view of availability to send to a client


Global Search + Tab Nav Bar

Background/Focus

  • Help users navigate pages and records across various modules faster and more efficiently

  • Provide global users a familiar and intuitive experience to finding items

Challenges faced

  • Previously, Sales team might take awhile to locate an Account / Lead / Opportunity they would need to navigate to module and search for specific record

Problem solving thoughts and solutions

  • With Global Search, Users are able to instantly find and locate records and perform their workflow in a smoother manner, navigating between files faster and efficiently

Outcomes

  • Enable users to increase workflow efficiency by finding and accessing records up to 3X faster (18 sec down to 6 sec) on average with the implementation and design solution of Global Search as compared to previous manual flow.

  • Helped more than 1.5K unique users perform up to 36,931 searches on a daily basis with Global Search - 123.1 hours or labor saved a day
