About me

Hi there, I have 10+ years of professional experience and a passion for working in growth-oriented companies.

Most of my career has been dedicated to helping tech giants develop new businesses from the ground up, particularly focusing on their global products. Throughout my career, I have worked with internet advertising, cloud services, CRM systems, browser operations, and cryptocurrency exchanges.

Cody is a design manager at Bitget.com with 10+ years of experience with leading the design team in diverse settings.

At ByteDance, I managed nearly 60 designers across four offices in the US and China. At Microsoft, I led a team of about 10, and in my most recent role, I oversaw 40 designers.

I specialize in merging designers from different fields into a unified team that clearly understands the company’s strategic goals and their role in achieving them.

Responsible for the design of Microsoft Edge mobile. Based in Suzhou, STCA. Work directly with a cross functional team, guiding designers to sort out products functionally by using design methods and deliver high quality products on Microsoft Egde browser. // 负责Microsoft Edge手机版本和部分电脑端的设计。直接与跨职能团队合作，指导设计师使用设计方法从功能上梳理产品，并在Microsoft Egde浏览器上交付高质量的产品。帮助产品在全球DAU达到6M的用户数量级。

Cody is contact person who is in charge of collaborating designers based in India, Seattle as well as China(STCA) to generate design concept and transfer concepts into product.Cody also contributes to the new Microsoft Edge name Phoenix style design and maintains all product lines applying the concept of Phoenix.

TikTok商业化设计负责人/TTMP Design Manager

As the second highest revenue pillar of Bytedance, TikTok started to test ads in mid 2018. Cody witnesses and participants TikTok ads business grew from $5M to $538M per month.

Cody leads a multidisciplinary team of over 50 members, including UX designers, visual artists, UX writers, and localization specialists. He oversees the creation of an integrated, intelligent global marketing platform that enhances connections between clients, users, and partners. His management spans the entire TikTok monetization ecosystem, from consumer experiences to operational tools, crafting a comprehensive service ecosystem.

Cody led a team of 10 visual designers, working with Data Scientists and marketers to enhance TikTok's advertising growth through dynamic holiday promotions and multi-channel campaigns. He also directed the production of key video content to expand global advertiser engagement.

Cody developed the localization and internationalization strategy for TikTok's monetization, streamlining processes in over 20 languages and 40 countries to boost global product initiatives.
